YOUR EXPERIENCE IS A LESSON

"You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life." - Winston Churchill

Lesson
Have you ever by chance experienced so much pain and cruel treatment, you wondered if you committed a crime you were unaware of? You begin to wonder how God could've abandoned you even though you're born again. Most times, you must understand, God gives you a destiny then gives you grace to bear the "preparation" for the fulfillment of that destiny.

The mother giraffe gives birth standing up, so the first thing that happens to a new-born giraffe is, falling about two metres to the ground. Still dazed, the baby tries to stand up
on its four legs, but its mother behaves very strangely: she gives the baby giraffe a gentle kick which sends it sprawling. It tries to get up and is again knocked down. This process is repeated several times, until the baby giraffe is too exhausted to stand. At that point, the mother kicks it again, forcing it to get to its feet. After that, she does not push the baby giraffe again.

The explanation is simple. In order to survive predators, the first lesson a giraffe must learn is to get to its feet quickly. The mother’s apparent cruelty finds support in the proverb, "Sometimes, in order to teach something good, you have to be a little rough." It isn't every cruel experience in life that is meant to kill you: most are lessons to prepare you for destiny. God is all knowing, so he chooses the kind of experiences you need for the future he's created you for. Like the baby giraffe you're not going to die, your experiences are in preparation for a glorious destiny. Remember you can't get gold any other way, but from the furnace.
