"In the school of goal setting, you are either consciously living your
life design, or you forfeit it the regulation of other people’s goals.
Nothing more, nothing less" - Uka Francis

| Goal Setting II |
God's master plan for creation, by design, didn't include life being
run by miracles: but that life should operate by principles. The one
person God intended to have control of your life, is YOU. Therefore, He
laid down principles with which that control could be navigated. One of
the greatest of such principles is that of. "Goal Setting." One wise
sage said, "The successful person has no choice but to anticipate the
future, to attempt to mold it, and to balance short-range and long-range
goals."
In the United States, a worker was hired to tap the
edges of the car door with a rubber mallet to make sure that they fit
perfectly. The Japanese assembly line, however, had no such worker or
machine to ensure that the door fit. Puzzled, the American executives
asked the nearest Japanese worker how they made sure that the doors fit
perfectly. The man replied, "We make sure it fits when we design it."
Not only was the Japanese process more efficient, but Japanese car doors
last longer and are more structurally sound in accidents compared to
American doors. Why? Simple. "The Japanese engineered the outcome they
wanted from the beginning of the process."
