Ever heard that, "he who laughs last, laughs best"? Well, while one is going through the "being laughed at" seasons of his life it can be a really daunting task to remain calm. It's easy to get frustrated especially when one does not understand the intricacies of the challenge. But, when one is fully in the know, it's easier. With understanding, one can even smile though an ordeal.

It is said that many children are terrified of the Easter Bunny: there are varying sizes though - some are cute, little, and furry in their Easter Baskets - those giant, six-foot-tall variety with the giant ears and even gianter eyes, the ones who roam the malls terrorizing innocent children, posing for a picture are the ones these children are scared of. The Easter Bunny can strike fear and dread in the hearts of little ones.

There's an experience of a parent's toddler son, who upon taking one look at the humongous, harrowing hare, let out a blood-curdling scream: he cried himself to sleep, and then slept with one eye open for days until he was sure all threat was gone. The Jamaican Usain Bolt, is the fastest man on the planet: he is the first to hold the 100 and 200 meters world records. He won six Olympic gold medals in two Olympic games, in sprinting. Bolt is also an eight-time world champion and a a devout Christian. He characteristically mouths a prayer to his creator, before every race, and after each victory he publicly gives thanks to Jesus Christ. He's not ashamed to do so. Following his second gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics, where his time in the 200m was 19.32 seconds, just a few hundredths of a second outside the current Olympic record, Usain added: "I want to thank GOD for everything he has done for me cause without him none of this wouldn't be possible."

Believers in Christ have been given the Lord’s Supper as a reminder of what our freedom from sin cost the Lord Jesus Christ. As we partake of the bread and the cup, we fulfill the command to, "do this in remembrance of Me." But in the sober celebration of the sacrifice of Christ there is joy: we need not leave our remembrances at the Lord’s table.

On October 17, 2013 Erin Green gave birth to her first child - a healthy baby girl. But soon afterward, Erin developed a rare condition called disseminated Intravascular coagulation (DIC) that kept blood from clotting normally. DIC has a high mortality rate and is difficult to control. Erin lost over three liters of blood and was in the OR for more than three grueling hours, while physicians tried to stop the bleeding. She received twelve units of blood, 6 units of fresh frozen plasma, and 2 units of platelets before she finally became stable and the bleeding was controlled.
