Don't you
find it amazingly thought provoking that some people seem to always get things
done in a day; others find having things done to be a struggle. There
definitely is something that separates a frantic, time-starved individual from a
productive one? Surprisingly, it's not much. Time management is about managing YOURSELF
DAILY. It’s making a commitment to be more organized, stay focused and maximize
your time to your best advantage. Had there been more than 24 hours in a day,
we would still find ways to fill them. Maximize your day by being more aware of
how you spend it. With proper planning, you can establish a routine, create work
around and use your time wisely.
Here’s some
advice:
1. Get out
of bed quickly.
The
individuals who are time-starved, shuts off their alarm and doze off a couple
more times before finally getting up. They usually end up over sleeping, and in
doing so waste up to 30 minutes of their morning. Even if they do get to work
on time, they've been rushed and stressed already upon arrival.
Try avoiding
hitting the snooze button by moving your alarm away from easy reach once it
goes off. Once you get up to shut it off, head straight for the shower and
start your day. Be a time conscious person and rise when the alarm wakes you
instead of wasting time, complaining in bed. You’ll arrive at work looking
refreshed and ready to tackle the day’s challenges.
