WHITE ON BLACK

"Black is the best backdrop, on which to paint white." - Edwin Biayeibo

It was Ralph Waldo Emerson who said, "do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." Someone else said further, to create a path to your destination when none exists already. Do the unusual. Many of us, have grown up to become adults with scars from the many battles life have put us through. Many have been burnt, others have been gutted, yet others have been roasted on the coals of life's challenges.
However, the important thing I want to draw out from here is this. Your background, no matter how distasteful it has been, or was. Is the backdrop on which God is painting the greatest masterpiece ever seen. A man who was born with a silver spoon, and goes on to become a success in life doesn't make headline news, but that man who from the backside of nowhere, one who didn't have a spoon to start with but became a great name. That's breaking news. Today in the United States of America, Martin Luther King, Jr. Has his birth date as a public holiday, because he created a path and left a trail for others to follow.

What is your story? Did your father walk out on you? Do you think the world has knocked you out of the race of life completely? Have you failed so many times in different ventures that everyone now believes you're a failure? Were you molested by a parent, or raped by a friend or whomever, and so you think your life is over? No, it's not. Your life is just beginning. Whatever the issue, just know God is refining you in the furnace because you're Gold. The world needs to hear your story. You're a celebrity in the making, remember there's no glory without a story.
