WHEN YOU'RE TIRED OF PRAYING

"Prayer is a strong wall and fortress of the church; it is a goodly Christian weapon." - Martin Luther

This young lady had a somewhat 'close' relationship, with pain and grief. Why do I say so? Read a bit of her life's experiences. She has a unique grief story. As a child, her father was hit by a drunk driver, he died instantly. She also lost all her grandparents, two of her uncles and an aunt. She has experienced the deaths of two fiancés. Two. One of her fiancés died just one month before her sister suddenly died. To add salt to the injury, she was also wrongly fired: laid off from work. Before you get all moody, hear what she says in the midst of all these, "The treasures I've learned through loss are not something I can go out and buy at the Supermarket!"

How do you handle grief? In life, God is not the cause of your grief or painful experiences, even though He allows it, sometimes. Just know that every allowed pain, by God, in your life is not to destroy you...but to build you. Learn to trust and praise God through your storms.

It doesn't make sense to still believe Him, in the midst of so much grief, just know His ways doesn't usually make sense most of the time.

It's easier to turn against God having gone through so much grief, but not this lady. She is able to still see some light, in the midst of her darkness. Like Job, she refused to curse God and die. Are you going through a hell hole? What do you do when you're tired of praying, and trusting God? The answer is, PRAY and TRUST HIM still.

  2. Yeah it’s quite easy to turn against God as many times we are unable to get answers to questions or reasons. When I worked with a Los Angeles DUI lawyer, I have seen how innocent people get killed for no fault of theirs by drunk drivers and their families have to bear the loss forever.
