Every great ventures today, had once started out little somewhere. Some multiplied dollar businesses have come from more humble beginnings than others. Some launching out with just some basic equipment, a couple of staff, when there was no funds for space some had to start out from a garage space. In all, it was the idea that made the difference.
In 1975, Bill Gates and Paul Allen founded Microsoft, with just a few resources and an available garage space. Microsoft homed in on the software market. Working with IBM, the company that licensed their first OS for a mere $80,000. Later, they would go on to develop more sophisticated operating systems that would evolve into those we know as Windows today. Microsoft, has grown to be one of the most profitable and powerful companies in the world, dominating the personal computing market. As of June 30, 2014, Microsoft has a global annual revenue of $86.83 Billion USD and 128,076 employees worldwide.
A journey of a thousand miles, begins with a step. Little baby steps today
will move you further faster, in the direction of your dream than no
step at all. Yes, challenges will come, discouragement will hug your
ideas. Friends, family and even enemies will mock you. Never give up.
Like Microsoft today, your venture will get to Forbes list if you keep
it at it.
