Looking at many spheres of influence, or careers as many call it. Certain names stand out, in your mind. For instance, when you talk about operating systems, Bill Gate's Windows comes to mind. In football, great names pop up, but that list won't be complete, without mentioning that little wonder-man, Lionel Messi. Why? I'll tell you.

At the age of five, Messi started playing football for Grandoli, a local club coached by his father Jorge. Today he's often considered the world's best player, and rated by some as the greatest of all time. Messi is the first football player in history to win four FIFA/Ballons d'Or, all of which he won consecutively. He's the first to win three European Golden boot awards. He is the only player to top-score in four consecutive Champions League seasons, and also the first to hold a record for the most hat-tricks
scored, which is five. In March 2012, he made Champions League history by becoming the first player to score five goals in one match.
 

There's no such thing as an overnight success. Messi for a large part of his life, was unknown. That was the time he was keeping his eyes single and perfecting his skills in football.
