"All of us, at certain moments of our lives, need to take advice and to receive help from other people." - Alexis Carrel
The normal and most logical thing to do when there's an ailment to deal with or injury to cure, is visiting a doctor or medical personnel. And the logical thing is, to visit a teacher when there's a difficult Algebra calculation to unravel. When there's chaos in a marriage, or there's a lawsuit somewhere, we quickly book an appointment with the counselor or call our lawyers. Interesting.
A building on Chicago's Southwest Side that contains a fire extinguisher manufacturing
business went up in flames, prompting a hazardous materials response that required more than 150 firefighters. A portion of the building, collapsed under the intense flames. The fire ultimately elevated to three alarms, requiring the help of 156 firefighters and 26 pieces of equipment. A fire official said getting enough water to the structure proved difficult.
Let's get this straight. Do you mean to say that; a building designed to manufacture fire extinguishers couldn't put out its own fire?
Yes sir, in plain English, I'm saying that EVERYONE needs help. Just because you know how to help someone else put their fires out doesn't mean you're immune to being burnt yourself. Even pastors need prayers and motivation: like doctors too, need medication. Only God is all sufficient. He's available to help put out your own fires today...just call Him.
