ARISE AND SHINE

"There was never a night or a problem that could defeat sunrise or hope." - Bernard Williams

Marilyn vos Savant says that, "A good idea will keep you awake during the morning, but a great idea will keep you awake during the night." What a remarkable statement that is: don't you agree? However, I like to ask, what you'd do when you can't remember who you are, where you are and why you're where you are every morning you wake up because of dementia or memory loss? When for some reason you can't seem to remember anything: that's an impossible nut to crack right?

Morning can be a really tough time for many people, not because of pending challenges with no answers, but because they wake up not knowing how to break through the fog of forgetfulness causing them agitation and fear.
"Why am I here?"

"How did I get here?"
"How am I supposed to get through this day?"
These and other questions all combine to make the common motivation, "arise and shine" seem nearly impossible.

Truth be told, you don’t need to be aging or ailing to wake up in the morning in a fog of forgetfulness, anxiety or fear. Why am I here? How did I get here? How am I supposed to get through this day? The everyday circumstances, stresses, and trials of life can throw anyone into a fog. It is true you have things clouding your heart, but don't you think that being able to remember who you are; what your name is; what you do and how to do all you have to do is worth being grateful for? I think it is. You've not lost your mind yet, Arise and Shine!
