"Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of
tiny threads, which sew people together through the years." – Simone

God's Choice |
Marriage is a
beautiful thing, and deciding who to marry is a most important decision
to ever make. The primary reason for marriage should be a conviction
that that person's God’s choice: not just a good choice. In the quest
for a spouse, sometimes nearly all available options will appear right
in some way. Therefore, since you can't end up with all, there comes the
need to allow for God's desire for you, and He can use any situation,
or circumstance to show you that one. "Does God want you to remain
single, or not?" That's an important question to first consider.
In 2000, 7 year old Tyrel Wolfe put together a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child. It was sponsored by Samaritan’s Purse, a christian organization. The shoebox went to a little Filipina, Joana at a suburb of Manila. The box had the photo of a little boy in a Cowboy's outfit holding a lariat. The boy had included his name and address, Joana wrote to say how the box impacted her, but he never received the letter.
Many years gone, Joana still felt a need to thank the boy for the shoebox. She was able to track down Tyrel on Facebook. They conversed online for a few months and then in June 2013 Tyrel flew to the Philippines to meet Joana in person, they were married in Idaho in October 2014. This happened by a single act of kindness years before. The chief enemy in choosing God’s best is a strong inclination to make a good choice instead of a God choice. It's paramount to follow His instructions.
God desires to be glorified even in your marriage. Make Him the center of your quest for a spouse in 2015, He knows better. As human's we'll want to look for perfection, and choose wrongly. Hence, the need to ask for God's direction so you'll not miss that man or woman he's approved for you. God's choice is a billion times more right for you. Why? He sees farther, farther and better than you do. As you put him in your quest may your eyes be opened indeed! It doesn't matter how far apart, close together or unaware you are God will close the gap, open yours and convince you. Just ask Him.
